The Legacy Line

The Wakeland Legacy Line drill team is a special group of dancers dedicated to supporting their school. The team includes girls from all classes including freshman, sophomores, juniors, and seniors. Year after year, Legacy Line is a one-of-a-kind, award-winning drill team. Legacy Line performances include jazz, pom, high kick, prop, contemporary, and lyrical routines.

The Wakeland Legacy Line supports its school by performing at every football game as well as several other games during the year such as basketball. Legacy Line also performs at every school pep rally, the Frisco Community Parade, and many of the Legacy Line girls can be seen each year in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. Legacy Line also gives back to its community by holding at least one dance clinic each year for younger girls hoping to be on Legacy Line one day.

In Spring, Legacy Line competes in multiple competitions against other schools and holds a Spring Show for the community to share its dancing with everyone who has an interest in the art.

Legacy Line will always try to maintain and grow the success of the Legacies while keeping the tradition of the past alive. Of course, the spirit of excellence will always continue!
